was down sat in the fog storm, had some top water blow ups but was unable to get a solid hook set on them. returned sunday eve was on the shad schools watching many blow ups threw and jigged spoons w/ no luck also used some 12" cheater boxes it seemed like they would only strike them but not eat them so whats up with that, anybody else had any luck?

Biggest channel cat i've ever caught. Blue Marsh friday night on cut alewife. Caught about 8 catfish, all but one over 2 foot, the other over twenty inches. Only had bigguns in the area this time. wtf happend there its 100% poooop! was down yesterday, and threw damn near everything in the box. thought my arm was going to fall off, lol i need a higher speed reel. i had to break down and fish for largemouth just to get a fix. has anyone ever tried to carolina rig on 30# power pro w/ a extra heavy musky rod it sucks. but i did get a few nothing fancy.

I think last evening was my 3rd time at BM. It's probably been 18 months or more since my last trip. I talked my neighbor into going, and unfortunately he's kinda impatience. Hey Guys.
Im new to the boards and thought I'd get your opinions on night fishing at these three spots.
This summer so far i mostly fished the susq down on gut road. I honestly haven't had too much luck down there. I'd get down there around 8pm and maybe catch 1 or 2 catfish the first hour and then it just dies.
Any suggestion as to what I could do to improve the results? I usually use chicken livers and sometimes small bluegills. I really am tired of catching...

Spent Saturday morning on Marburg with my dad fishing for white perch. We only had a small window of opportunity to fish because my sister was having a cook-out for my niece's birthday so we had to be off the water by 10:00am.

Took Blitzin' out on my first ever trip to Redman. Caught a nice Wiper pulling spoons. 26", an ounce or two shy of 10 lbs. Probably a 6 year old fish. We motored over to the sign to get a pic. They're in there alright. Thanks Blitzin' for the camera work and company!

i would just like to get some impute on what yous would think about a tourney like this, ( ie; live bait, trolling, artificial, day/night) the reason being i know alot of people are going there here recently fishing for them. was on the lake this week and got out the binocs i counted 14 boats 4 guys i knew fishing for stripes, 2 others were look-in for the same. and one other one constantly trolling, safe to say he was probably to.

St Lawrence river Canada

Just spent 8 days on the St Lawrence staying at a friends cottage in Gananoque Canada. His place is right on the river, nothing like walking out the door and jumping right in the boat! I can't wow everybody about the fish we caught, because we targeted only perch. But there were plenty of them and were big too! I did get a couple nice pike the first day fishing with my friend, but do to the fact my wife has MS, I had to concentrate on something she could handle and have some fun with....

Fished Lake Williams yesterday & ended up with 9 bass and a 26 inch channel cat. 3 bass were over the 16" min. with the other 6 being juvenile SM bass between 10 to 14 inches each. The best bass was a LM that was 19 inches - 4.5 pounds. I kept this LM because I was extremely interested in the stomach contents to test what I had read in one of Ken Penrod's books on bass.
